Two active main battle warships of the navy will be open to the public in Qingdao on the eve of National Day.

Journalists learned from the Navy of the Northern Theater of China on the 16th that in order to inherit and promote the great spirit of the Anti-Japanese War, the Navy of the Northern Theater of China will organize a ship open event at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center in Shandong Province from September 24th to 28th, opening the missile destroyer Xining and the missile frigate Wuhu for public visits. This ship open event implements online reservation with real-name system, and the public can make reservations and register through the "North Sea Fleet" WeChat public account. After successful reservation, visitors can enter the dock for visit with a valid second-generation ID card. The missile destroyer Xining is a domestically developed Type 052D missile destroyer of China, with hull number 117, launched in August 2014 and commissioned in January 2017. The missile frigate Wuhu is a domestically developed Type 054A missile frigate of China, with hull number 539, launched in August 2016 and commissioned in June 2017. Both Xining and Wuhu are under the Navy of the Northern Theater of China.
