CAAM: In August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 315,000 and 316,000 respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 16.4% and 16.3% respectively.

According to the analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in August, compared with the previous month, the production and sales of passenger and commercial vehicles both showed double-digit declines in the main types of commercial vehicles; compared with the same period last year, the production and sales of passenger and commercial vehicles showed varying degrees of growth. In August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 315,000 and 316,000 respectively, with a month-on-month growth of 5.9% and 3.4%, and a year-on-year growth of 16.4% and 16.3%. From January to August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 2.713 million and 2.744 million respectively, with year-on-year growth of 7.1% and 5.2%.
