Argentinian President Milai delivered a televised speech on the 15th regarding the 2026 fiscal budget, reaffirming that there will be no changes to the economic policies and the government remains committed to achieving fiscal balance. Milai stated that fiscal balance is a "non-negotiable" goal, and if this goal can be achieved, the Argentine economy will experience "unimaginable" growth, otherwise it will once again fall into uncontrollable inflation. The budget proposal submitted to Congress on that day indicates that the GDP of Argentina is expected to grow by 5% in 2026, with an inflation rate projected at 10.1%.
