According to media reports, ByteDance's subsidiary Chaoxi Guangnian announced the closure of its Shanghai studio and the layoff of about 300 employees, involving projects such as "Project: Babel." The adjustment was made because the project progress did not meet expectations, and the compensation plan is N+2. In response to the news, the person in charge of ByteDance Games stated to Sina Technology that the Shanghai studio has not been shut down and there is no project with that code name.
