Li Ka-chao announces the theme of the policy address.

The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, will deliver her fourth policy address tomorrow. She mentioned that during the past three months of consultation period, more than 40 consultation sessions were held, engaging with people from different sectors and conducting community visits to have sincere and in-depth exchanges with citizens. During the consultation period, over 10,100 submissions were received, reflecting the public's attention and concern regarding the governance of the SAR. Carrie Lam introduced that the theme of this year's policy address is "Deepening Reform, Caring for People's Livelihood, Leveraging Strengths, and Creating the Future Together," reflecting her emphasis on people's livelihood and the hope to promote economic development through reforms and leveraging Hong Kong's advantages for the well-being of the people. Carrie Lam emphasized that as long as we unite, strive for self-improvement, seize opportunities, and pursue reforms, Hong Kong will surely be able to create a better future.
