Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs: Over 1,000 companies participate in national agricultural science and technology projects, accounting for over half.

On September 16, Zhang Xingwang, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, stated at the "14th Five-Year Plan" themed press conference held by the State Council Information Office that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the deep integration of industry, academia, and research driven by enterprises is steadily advancing. China is vigorously nurturing leading technology enterprises in the field of agriculture, using major projects as traction, leveraging the advantages of the whole-country system, and guiding enterprises to carry out in-depth technological innovation. Currently, in the national agricultural science and technology projects under research, there are more than 1000 participating enterprises, accounting for 51% of the total participating units.
