On the morning of September 16th, focusing on the theme of "striving to build an excellent modern international urban area", Zhong Xiaoyong, the Party Secretary of Jing'an District, introduced the construction and development achievements of Jing'an District during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Since 2021, a total of 991 first stores of various types have been introduced, with a number of landmark projects becoming consumer hotspots that attract attention nationwide and globally, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods ranking first in the central urban area. Since the start of the "14th Five-Year Plan", 85 regional headquarters of multinational companies and other headquarters have been added, with a total of 142 regional headquarters of multinational companies and 26 private enterprise headquarters introduced. The number of headquarters enterprises ranks among the top in the city, and the annual average growth of headquarters economy tax contributions is 11.1%. In the five major areas of human resources, consulting and surveys, advertising, legal services, quality inspection technology, the revenue accounts for over 18% in the city, ranking first in the city. The proportion of tax contributions from professional service industries has increased from 15.8% in 2020 to 22.1% last year. There are more than 6,100 foreign-funded enterprises in the entire district, contributing nearly 50% to the regional economy, with both scale and proportion ranking first in the central urban area of the city.
