On September 15th, local time, the US Department of Defense announced that the US State Department has approved a potential military sales plan to sell F-16 fighter jets and related logistics and project support to Peru, with an estimated transaction value of about $3.42 billion. The main contractors for the sale include Lockheed Martin, General Electric Aviation, and RTX Corporation.
