The review of Ukraine's accession to the EU has been completed.

On September 15th local time, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine announced that Ukraine and the European Union had completed a review meeting on the chapter of "Agriculture and Rural Development" in Brussels. This also marks the final topic of the last cluster in Ukraine's negotiations to join the EU, signaling the end of the review phase. During the three-day meeting, Ukraine presented 28 topics including agricultural reform, digital progress, national support, market supervision, and agricultural development, and reported on the alignment of its domestic legislation with EU laws in areas such as financial and administrative structures, agricultural markets, quality policies, organic production, and agricultural product promotion. Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Bashlyk, stated that Ukraine has made positive progress in aligning its agricultural policies with EU standards, but there is still a lot of work to be done in the future. He emphasized that the process of joining the EU requires mutual efforts and close coordination between both sides, and Ukraine is willing to continue promoting this process.
