Shenzhen Stock Exchange Signs Cooperation Memorandum with Muscat Securities Market to Further Deepen Cooperation with Middle Eastern Capital Markets
Recently, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and the Muscat Securities Market signed a memorandum of cooperation in Shenzhen, intending to further deepen practical cooperation in areas such as high-level meetings, personnel exchanges, experience sharing, and market development. In recent years, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange has actively promoted comprehensive cooperation with Middle Eastern capital markets, signing memoranda of cooperation with exchanges in countries such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman, establishing a normalized two-way communication mechanism, facilitating the listing of Saudi ETFs on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, organizing meetings between more than 30 listed companies and Middle Eastern institutions, and exploring diverse and characteristic cooperation models according to local conditions. Next, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange will follow the overall deployment of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, adhere to the principle of promoting reforms and development through opening up, continuously strengthen multi-level exchanges and cooperation with capital markets in key countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" initiative such as the Middle East, steadily advance high-level opening-up, and contribute to the high-quality development of the capital market.
