Chris Shang, a senior executive in the private credit department at BlackRock Asia, is reported to have resigned.
According to sources, Chris Shang, the head of BlackRock's private credit business in Asia, has left the company, making him another high-ranking executive to depart from the American asset management firm. Sources said Shang, based in Hong Kong, resigned earlier this month. Due to discussing confidential information, sources preferred not to be named. One source mentioned that he is currently in talks to join the multi-asset investment platform Granite Asia. BlackRock and Granite Asia declined to comment, and Shang did not respond to requests for comment.
