According to reports, since August of this year, the United States has deployed warships, nuclear submarines, and other military forces in the Caribbean near Venezuela under the pretext of combating drug trafficking groups in Latin America. Recently, Venezuela announced that a US destroyer illegally intercepted, boarded, and detained a Venezuelan fishing vessel in the exclusive economic zone of Venezuela. Lin Jian stated that the actions of the United States threaten regional peace and security, seriously violate the sovereignty and security of other countries, and seriously violate international law.
