The World Health Organization is conducting Ebola vaccination work in the Congo.
On September 14th local time, the World Health Organization announced that the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo has started the vaccination campaign in the Ebola outbreak center in the Bapale region of Equateur province. The first batch of vaccines consists of 400 doses, which will be administered to individuals who have had contact with Ebola patients and frontline emergency response workers. The World Health Organization has deployed 48 experts to assist in testing, clinical care, infection prevention, and logistics in the affected area. In the future, 45,000 doses of vaccine will be transported to the country.
