Former Party Secretary and Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Li Mingsheng, has been expelled from the party and removed from office.

After investigation, it was found that Li Mingsheng, a Party member and leader, had lost his ideals and beliefs, abandoned his original mission, resisted organizational inspection; ignored the spirit of the eight regulations of the Central Committee, illegally used public funds to pay for banquets, accepted invitations and travel arrangements that could affect the impartial execution of official duties; violated organizational principles by concealing personal matters, not truthfully explaining issues when questioned by the organization, and arranging for others to benefit from cadre and staff transfers; breached the bottom line of integrity, openly accepting gifts; intervened in and meddled in market economic activities; engaged in corruption by using public power for personal gain, utilizing official convenience to benefit others in areas such as loan guarantees, land transfers, and fund disbursements, and illegally received huge amounts of property; abused authority, causing significant losses to national interests.
