The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers firmly supports the Ministry of Commerce's anti-discrimination investigation.
On September 13, 2025, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce issued a notice launching an anti-dumping investigation on certain analog chips imported from the United States and initiating an anti-discrimination case investigation on related measures taken by the United States in the integrated circuit field. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers is highly concerned about this and firmly supports the Ministry of Commerce in taking necessary measures in accordance with the law. The advancement of technology and sustainable development in the automotive industry particularly requires an open, fair, and non-discriminatory international market environment. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers calls on domestic and foreign companies to continue strengthening technological innovation and industry chain collaboration, deepen open cooperation in areas such as electrification and intelligentization, and jointly promote the green, safe, and high-quality development of the global automotive industry. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers will actively support and cooperate with the investigating authorities in the investigation, and firmly safeguard fair trade and the legitimate rights and interests of the industry.
