CICC International released a research report stating that in August, the production and export of power batteries in the mainland continued to grow steadily. In August, the production of power batteries in the mainland reached 62.5GWh, an increase of 32.4% year-on-year and 11.9% month-on-month. China's battery exports remained stable, with a total of 22.6GWh exported in the month, a year-on-year increase of 23.9% and a month-on-month decrease of 2.6%, accounting for 16.8% of the monthly sales. The report pointed out that from August 11th to September 11th, the stock prices of CATL, EVE Energy, Guoxuan High-Tech, and CITIC Guoan increased by 22.4%, 63.4%, 61.7%, and 35.6% respectively, reaching the latest target price of the company. This is in line with the company's previous judgment, with the main driving force coming from the continued high prosperity of energy storage orders and the research and development progress of some companies in the field of solid-state batteries. The bank stated that solid-state batteries are gradually moving from the laboratory to the production validation stage. Meanwhile, emerging scenarios such as low-altitude flight, robots, and AI are opening up new market space for solid-state batteries, accelerating industrialization and deployment. It is recommended to pay attention to the progress of solid-state battery industrialization and the investment opportunities it brings.
