Beijing: Relocation of city-level government offices has been mostly completed.
According to Beijing Daily, at the first session of the Capital's "14th Five-Year Plan" high-quality closing series thematic press conference held this morning, Yang Xiuling, Director of the Beijing Development and Reform Commission, introduced that the three provinces and cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region have cooperated and coordinated in development, achieving significant results. Among them, the development of the Beijing urban sub-center has firmly advanced from orderly expanding the urban framework to comprehensively improving functional quality, and the relocation of municipal agencies has been basically completed. In the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Beijing's resolute and orderly relocation of non-capital functions has reduced urban and rural construction land by 150 square kilometers in total and has seen the withdrawal of over 3000 general manufacturing companies, exchanging the "subtractive" effect of relocation for the "additive" effect of optimizing economic structure and spatial layout.
