The company is currently dealing with high-cost pressures and federal investigations, including a criminal investigation into its Medicare billing practices - as a result of these factors, the company's stock price has dropped by about 30% this year. Stephen Hemsley returned to the position of CEO in May and promised to regain investor trust. A White House official revealed that Hemsley recently met with Trump's Chief of Staff, Susie, but the CEO did not mention or discuss the criminal investigation.
