The second largest UK supermarket chain, J Sainsbury Plc, has suspended negotiations with JD.com to sell its Argos business. The company claims that the terms and commitments offered by JD.com are not in the best interests of shareholders and other stakeholders. Just a day earlier, the company had stated that JD.com could drive growth for Argos.
