A convoy of 5 Chinese nationals in Nigeria was attacked, 1 Chinese person was kidnapped, and efforts are underway to rescue them.

Recently, a convoy with 5 Chinese citizens in Nigeria was attacked by unidentified armed individuals, with one person being kidnapped. On September 14th, the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos confirmed that this incident did occur, and they are working to rescue the kidnapped Chinese citizens. Staff at the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos stated that there was gunfire at the scene, and the kidnapped individual is a Chinese citizen. The situation is still being dealt with. Currently, the kidnapped Chinese citizen is still being rescued, and the other 4 Chinese citizens are unharmed.
