On September 13, the Ministry of Commerce announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into imported analog chips from the United States. According to the application documents submitted by the Semiconductor Industry Association of Jiangsu Province, the relevant American manufacturers include four companies: Texas Instruments, ADI, Broadcom, and Intel. The preliminary evidence submitted by the Semiconductor Industry Association of Jiangsu Province shows that during the investigation period, the prices of the products originating from the United States dropped significantly, with the dumping margin for exports to China exceeding 300%. The application products accounted for an average market share of 41% in China. In terms of absolute import volume, the total import quantity of the application products has been steadily increasing, with a total import quantity of 11.59 billion, 12.99 billion, and 15.90 billion chips in 2022, 2023, and 2024 respectively.
