Tongyu Heavy Industries: Delivery of core drive components for 110-meter fully steerable radio telescope.

Recently, Tongyu Heavy Industry officially shipped the walking drive unit parts of China's 110-meter fully movable radio telescope in the assembly workshop. The delivery of this key component marks a major breakthrough for the company in the manufacturing and assembly of core equipment for super large scientific instruments, contributing to the construction of the movable radio telescope. The project originated from the Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, aiming to build a world-class astronomical observatory facility. As the core manufacturer, Tongyu Heavy Industry has ventured into the field of radio telescope drive units for the first time, taking on the responsibility of designing and manufacturing high-precision mechanical structural components and transmission systems.
