The completion of the feedback on the fourth batch of the third round of central ecological and environmental protection inspection.

Approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, as of this afternoon, the third round and fourth batch of Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection Teams have provided feedback on the inspection to Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Shaanxi, Ningxia, as well as three central enterprises including China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., China Datang Corporation Limited, and State Power Investment Corporation Limited. The inspection has identified some prominent issues: some provinces and regions still have the problem of blindly initiating "two high" projects, the effectiveness of ecological protection and governance in some sensitive areas is not stable, illegal hunting and trafficking of wild birds are rampant, and the issue of "digging lakes and creating landscapes" has not been effectively rectified. There are some prominent issues in the ecological environment protection in the Yellow River Basin, the requirements of "four waters and four firmly fixed" are not fully implemented, and there are weaknesses in the battle against pollution prevention and control. Some central enterprises have not truly played a leading role in the field of ecological and environmental protection, the main responsibility for ecological and environmental protection is not fulfilled, the institutional mechanisms are imperfect, energy consumption control is not in place, outdated equipment is still in use, and ecological and environmental monitoring data are falsified.
