Amazon has started testing various electric delivery van options, excluding Rivian, through its subsidiary BrightDrop.

Amazon has launched the Chevrolet BrightDrop electric delivery truck as part of its delivery fleet testing. Following the announcement of the testing, Rivian's stock price immediately came under pressure. The e-commerce giant confirmed that as part of its "Get 100,000 electric delivery trucks on the road by 2030" plan, the company is evaluating other supplier options in addition to the existing Rivian delivery trucks. This means that Amazon may be seeking supply chain diversification rather than relying solely on Rivian.
