Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance has insured over 150,000 unmanned aerial vehicles, providing risk coverage exceeding 90 billion yuan and a compensation amount exceeding 11.7 billion yuan for drones and aircraft. On September 11, during the 2025 China International Trade in Services Fair, Shi Liangxun, the general manager of Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance, stated in an interview with Beijing Business Daily that from the rapid airdrop of logistics drones shuttling between buildings, to the efficient spraying of agricultural drones for crop protection, and the precise monitoring of power line inspection drones, the low-altitude economic industry is being reshaped by diversified and deeply applied technologies, reshaping the operating models of various industries.
