Three small and medium rivers in Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guizhou experienced floods exceeding the warning level.
From 8:00 on September 12th to 8:00 on the 13th, due to rainfall, three small and medium-sized rivers, including the Laixi River, a tributary of the Tuojiang River in Sichuan Province, the Xier River, a tributary of the Lancang River in Yunnan Province, and the Changxi River, a tributary of the Wujiang River in Guizhou Province, experienced flooding above the warning level, with the maximum exceeding 0.65 meters. This morning, the Ministry of Water Resources conducted a rolling consultation to assess the national rainfall situation and issued targeted early warnings to 7 provinces including Guizhou and Yunnan, reminding them to be prepared for flooding and flash floods in small and medium-sized rivers, as well as ensuring the safety of reservoirs during the flood season.
