On September 12, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission announced the public disclosure of multiple penalty notices, in which many financial institutions including Guangfa Bank, China Construction Bank, China Merchants Bank, and the Export-Import Bank of China were penalized. Related personnel were also prohibited from engaging in related work or fined. It is worth noting that this is the second batch of penalty notices published by the regulatory commission since September, involving issues such as credit approval, regulatory information reporting, and operational risks. According to statistics, since September, the regulatory commission has published two batches of penalty notices involving a total of 18 parties, with a total fine amount of approximately 2.69 billion yuan.
