Recently, the "Three-Year Action Plan for Comprehensive Development along the China-Laos Railway" was released. It mentions that the goal is to reach a cumulative freight volume of over 110 million tons by 2027, striving to exceed 120 million tons, with cross-border freight volume reaching over 27 million tons. Yunnan enterprises' value of cross-border transportation goods through the China-Laos Railway is expected to account for over 50% of the total cross-border transportation value along the entire line of the China-Laos Railway. The cumulative passenger volume is expected to exceed 100 million people, with cross-border passenger volume exceeding 1.4 million people. The cumulative number of "Central Asia trains" operated is expected to exceed 5000 trains.
