The three major stock indexes in Europe saw mixed movements on that day. The top five stocks in terms of price increase among the constituents of the London Stock Exchange on that day were: Beazley Insurance Company's stock price rose by 2.84%, business services outsourcing company Babcock International's stock price rose by 2.39%, British natural gas supplier Centrica Group's stock price rose by 2.13%, British United Food Group's stock price rose by 1.83%, and British Aerospace Systems Company's stock price rose by 1.72%.
