The National Health Commission and nine other departments issued a notice on the "Action Plan for the Prevention and Treatment of Viral Hepatitis in China". By 2030, the full immunization rates for children against hepatitis A and B will be maintained at 95% or above, the on-time first dose vaccination rate for newborns against hepatitis B will be maintained at 90% or above. The prevalence rate of hepatitis B surface antigen in children under 5 years old will be reduced to 0.2% or below. The rate of mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B will be reduced to 1% or below. The nationwide clinical blood testing rates for hepatitis B and hepatitis C viruses will reach 100%, the proportion of safe injections in medical institutions will reach 100%, and the coverage of comprehensive intervention measures for injection drug users will exceed 95%. The diagnosis rate of chronic hepatitis B patients will reach 80% or above, and the rate of antiviral treatment for newly reported chronic hepatitis B patients will reach 80% or above. The diagnosis rate of chronic hepatitis C patients will reach 80% or above, and the rate of antiviral treatment for chronic hepatitis C patients will reach 80% or above.
