The United Nations Security Council passed a resolution to extend the sanctions on Sudan.

On September 12th local time, the UN Security Council unanimously passed a resolution to extend the sanctions against Sudan, authorizing the Sudan Sanctions Committee to be extended until September 12, 2026.
