According to the Wisdom Financial APP, on Friday, some quantum computing concept stocks in the US stock market surged, with IonQ Inc (IONQ.US) rising over 18%, Rigetti Computing (RGTI.US) rising nearly 18%, Quantum Computing (QUBT.US) rising over 6%, Arqit Quantum (ARQQ.US) and Qunten (QMCO.US) rising over 4%. The rise in stock prices is due to the increasingly clear prospects for commercialization of quantum technology. Peter Shadbolt, Chief Scientific Officer of PsiQuantum, stated that quantum computers of a sufficient scale will be able to solve "commercially valuable problems that no one else on Earth can solve without quantum machines". According to previous reports, quantum machines are expected to play a key role in scientific breakthroughs such as new material development and drug discovery, solving commercially valuable problems that traditional computers cannot handle.
