Borant Robot changes its management team, the former Chairman, who had a "2 million monthly salary," has stepped down. The new Chairman, who will work with zero salary for the time being.
In August, a news article titled "Robot company CEO proposes a fixed monthly salary of 2 million RMB for himself, angering investors" went viral on the internet. It is reported that at the time, the chairman and general manager of Borongte Robot Co., Ltd., Yin Rongzao, proposed to the company's board of directors that starting from August 2025, the fixed monthly salary for the company's general manager would be 2 million RMB. However, this proposal was not approved by the board of directors. Currently, there have been new developments in the situation. Borongte's WeChat public account recently announced that during the third interim shareholders meeting of 2025, five non-independent directors were elected: Li Bozheng, Yin Rongzao, Yang Yihua, Deng Gongzhao, and Guo Jinlong. Subsequently, at the first meeting of the Fifth Board of Directors, Li Bozheng was elected as the chairman of the company, responsible for leading the board's work, strategic planning, and major operational decisions. Upon Li Bozheng's nomination, the board of directors approved Yang Yihua to serve as the company's general manager. This personnel change indicates that Yin Rongzao, the largest shareholder of Borongte, has lost control over the company's management. Li Bozheng responded to reporters, stating: "So far, I have received zero salary, I'm doing it for free! The company is also planning to establish a corresponding salary system, but my fixed salary will definitely take into account the industry and the specific situation of the company. The few of us directors are all important shareholders of Borongte, we all have a consensus, which is to achieve a value increase through the development of the company, and to achieve a more long-term return on investment."
