Novartis Pharmaceuticals fell 3.2% as Goldman Sachs downgraded the company's rating to "sell." Warner Bros. continued its upward trend with an 8.4% increase, amid rumors that Paramount Pictures may make a takeover offer. Restoration Hardware fell 4.1% as its annual revenue target fell short of expectations.
