Montreal Bank Capital points out that after the Federal Reserve starts cutting interest rates, the US stock market usually rises. Since 1982, out of 10 rounds of rate cuts, the S&P 500 index has seen positive returns in 8 rounds, with an average return rate of 10.4% one year after the rate cut.
