The 54th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting, which lasted for 5 days, concluded on the evening of the 12th in Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands. The joint communique issued after the meeting showed that the leaders in attendance reached multiple agreements on key issues such as climate change, regional peace and security, and economic development. The communique stated that in response to the increasingly complex geopolitical environment, the leaders at the meeting issued the "Blue Pacific Peace Declaration", advocating for dialogue and consensus to maintain regional peace and stability. The communique also stated that climate change remains the most serious threat to the region, and the Pacific region needs to amplify its voice in the global climate agenda. During the meeting, the leaders in attendance also discussed topics such as deepening regional integration, strengthening fisheries development, promoting labor mobility facilitation, and promoting digital transformation, and approved the new "Pacific Islands Forum Partnership Policy".
