At the end of August, the broad money supply (M2) balance was 33.198 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year. The narrow money supply (M1) balance was 11.123 trillion yuan, an increase of 6% year-on-year. The circulating money supply (M0) balance was 1.334 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.7% year-on-year. Cash net injection was 520.8 billion yuan in the first eight months. At the end of August, the balance of domestic and foreign currency loans was 27.302 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.6% year-on-year. The balance of RMB loans at the end of the month was 26.91 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year.
