Reporters learned from the Ministry of Transportation that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China's urban rail transit, conventional public transportation, and slow transportation networks will be integrated and developed. Currently, there are a total of 331 operating urban rail transit lines in 54 cities nationwide, with a total operating mileage of approximately 11,000 kilometers, ranking first in the world. As of the end of last year, the country had a total of 658,000 urban public electric vehicles, with new energy buses accounting for more than 80% of them. The total length of urban public transportation routes reached 1.75 million kilometers.
