Tong Yahui, former Party Secretary and Chairman of Zhejiang Energy Group, has been expelled from the party.

After investigation, Tong Yahui has lost his ideal and belief, betrayed his original intention and mission, is disloyal and dishonest to the party, and resists organizational investigation; violated the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulations, accepted gifts and banquets in violation of regulations, violated organizational principles by not truthfully explaining issues when questioned by the organization; breached the bottom line of integrity, accepted services without compensation from management service providers using his authority; used public power as a tool for seeking personal gain, used his position to profit for others in taking on projects and business, and illegally accepted huge sums of money.
