Longjian Environmental Protection: Wholly-owned subsidiary Zijin Longjian plans to invest $399 million to construct the Congo Kailangeng hydropower project.

Long Clean Environmental Protection Announcement, a wholly-owned subsidiary Zijin Long Clean, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Long Clean Hong Kong, has acquired 80% of the shares of GML company in the Congo and obtained the development rights of the 140MW Congo Kalungwa Hydroelectric Power Project. The total investment amount of the project is approximately 399 million US dollars, which is planned to be self-financed by the company. The project is located on the Lualaba River in Upper Lomami Province, Congo, 200km from the site of Zijin Mining's affiliated enterprise in Congo, Kolwezi. The project is expected to have a construction period of 3.5 years, an estimated annual utilization hours of 5100 hours, and an estimated annual power generation of 714 million kWh. After the project is completed, 90% of the electricity will be prioritized to provide to Zijin Mining's affiliated enterprises in the Congo, and 10% will be supplied to the local community.
