The "China Liquor Market Prosperity Index" for the first half of the year has been released.
On September 10th, the first results of the China liquor market prosperity index were announced at the 14th Liquor Expo. The data showed that from January to June 2025, the liquor market prosperity index in China was 47.14, indicating it was in a weak and sluggish range. In terms of channels, online terminals were leading against the trend, while traditional channels were under pressure. The terminal indices for liquor stores, comprehensive retail, supermarkets, and online terminals were 39.19, 49.06, 49.77, and 61.89 respectively. The prosperity index ranges from 0 to 100, with 50 as the critical value: when the index is above 50, it reflects the liquor market is in a prosperous state, while when it is below 50, it reflects the liquor market is in a sluggish state.
