The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and two other departments issued the "Steady Growth Work Plan for the Electric Power Equipment Industry (2025-2026)".

Wisdom Finance and Economics APP learned that on September 12, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the "Work Plan for Steady Growth of the Electric Power Equipment Industry (2025-2026)", which proposed that the main goals for 2025-2026 are: to maintain an annual revenue growth rate of around 6% for traditional electric power equipment, and to achieve stable growth in revenue for new energy equipment; to maintain the output of power generation equipment within a reasonable range, ensure effective supply, and increase the export volume of new energy equipment; to strengthen the driving role of key regions and key enterprises, with the national advanced manufacturing clusters in the electric power equipment sector achieving an annual revenue growth rate of around 7%, and leading enterprises achieving an annual revenue growth rate of around 10%; and to promote the breakthrough and application of a number of iconic equipment.
