Galaxy CEO: The cryptocurrency market is entering the "Solana season"
Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz stated on CNBC that the cryptocurrency market is entering the "Solana season", believing that the Solana blockchain is particularly suitable for financial market applications due to its high speed and transaction capacity. He emphasized the positive shift in the regulatory environment, especially with recent comments from U.S. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins indicating a push towards modernizing securities rules to support market digitization and clarifying that "most cryptocurrencies are not securities". Meanwhile, Nasdaq has applied to the SEC to allow tokenized stocks and ETFs to trade on the same order book as traditional versions, with blockchain settlement potentially starting as early as the third quarter of 2026 if approved. Novogratz predicts that Bitcoin will "only go up in the long run".
