In a single day, the drilling speed of oil and gas wells in China reached a new record of 2618 meters.

Chinese Offshore Oil Corporation announced that during the development project in the 13-3 area of the Dongfang gas field in the Yinggehai Sea, Hainan, a well achieved a daily footage of 2618 meters, breaking the domestic record for the daily footage of oil and gas wells. This milestone signifies that China's offshore high-temperature and high-pressure oil and gas development technology has reached an internationally advanced level.
