On September 11th, local time, a Boeing 737-700 aircraft of Southwest Airlines experienced an engine failure after takeoff from Hollywood Burbank Airport in California, USA. The aircraft, which was originally scheduled to fly to Phoenix, Arizona, was forced to divert to Los Angeles. Southwest Airlines stated that they would arrange alternative flights for passengers to Phoenix and confirmed that the plane had safely taxied to the gate at Los Angeles International Airport.
