The second batch of emergency humanitarian relief supplies from China has arrived in Kabul, Afghanistan. A magnitude 6 earthquake struck Afghanistan on August 31, causing severe damage in the area. On September 2 and September 5, Afghanistan experienced another magnitude 5.5 and magnitude 5.1 earthquakes. The Afghan Red Crescent Society confirmed on September 4 that the earthquakes in eastern Afghanistan have resulted in 2205 deaths and 3640 injuries.
