The embassy in Mali once again reminds all personnel in Mali to further strengthen security precautions.

Currently, the security situation in Mali is severe and complex. There have been frequent incidents of terrorist attacks, kidnappings, and other malicious acts targeting businesses and individuals from various countries. Terrorists have claimed to have blocked off sections of the Kayes-Bamako and Segou-Bamako roads, resulting in multiple incidents of vehicles being attacked and people being kidnapped along these routes.
