The General Office of the People's Government of Henan Province issued the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Government Investment Funds", proposing vigorously developing long-term capital, patient capital, and strategic capital. The duration of the fund can be flexibly set in accordance with the law of industrial development and the characteristics of the enterprise lifecycle. The maximum duration of the mother fund for industrial investment is 15 years, while for venture capital, it is 20 years, and for funds using direct investment mode, it is 10 years. It is necessary to reasonably determine the investment and exit periods of the fund, and the exit period should not involve further investments. The funding entities established by the financial departments as needed are not subject to the above time limits.
