The 12th Silk Road International Film Festival will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian from September 22 to 26. The theme of this festival is "Silk Road Connecting the World, Light and Shadow Shining on the Min Capital", and it will create a platform for international film exchange and cooperation through various activities. This festival has received over 3,500 submissions from 135 countries and regions; and from September 20 to October 8, it will showcase 100 high-quality films in 17 cinemas in Fujian province, with over 200 screenings. Outdoor screenings will also be held in city squares, tourist attractions, etc. to bring quality films directly to the grassroots level. Additionally, there will be activities such as the Guest Country Film event, "Belt and Road" film industry collaboration exchange event, cross-strait youth film exchange meeting, and a special session for promoting key film industry projects, to promote exchange and cooperation in the film industry between China and foreign countries. Furthermore, over 10 million yuan will be invested in benefiting the public during the festival, with activities such as consumer season, launching film and television themed tourism routes, planning carnivals, "ticket economics," "intangible cultural heritage + cultural tourism," and other activities to build a fusion eco-system of culture, commerce, and tourism that empowers culture, attracts tourism, and enhances consumption quality.
