On September 8, 2025, under the organization of the Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese Association of International Contracting Engineering Companies, together with the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile Products, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industrial Products and Arts and Crafts, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce, and Animal By-products, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Chemicals and Minerals, and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products, jointly released the China Enterprise Outward Investment Activity Index for the first time during the 25th China International Investment and Trade Fair. The seven industry associations jointly releasing the China Enterprise Outward Investment Activity Index is of great significance and practical value. Firstly, it can intuitively reflect the current situation and trend of China's outward investment, quantify the investment enthusiasm of hot industries and countries; secondly, it provides data reference for the government to formulate policies, which is conducive to scientifically guiding enterprises to make reasonable layouts and avoid blind investment and resource mismatch; thirdly, it can warn against the risk of industry overheating and promote effective collaboration among enterprises to achieve high-quality development (Ministry of Commerce).
